“Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth.
My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Psalm 73:25-26
.
Before my flesh fails finally,
And I am received to glory,
I have come to know a bit about these things:
The failing of the flesh and heart.
Truthfully, I know a lot.
Two decades of persistent, bodily miseries
Have followed
Two decades of grievous heart injuries.
More than enough to educate me.
But
I also know God.
Nothing on earth compares to Him.
The pain of life is temporary.
He is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Forever
To Him be the glory! Amen!
