Wow, posting twice in the same month! About a week and a half ago, I posted “A Christmas List for the Christian Wife”, and now this! This return to writing for Chapter 3 Ministries was made possible because it is Christmas time, and therefore I’m taking a break from a major writing project that I’ve been working on.

Part of the role of older women according to Titus 2:3-5 is to encourage young women to love their children. There are many ways that older women can do that. One way that might get overlooked is encouraging young women to love their children by teaching them how to defend their faith.
Because of my husband’s quick leadership – and because I followed it – I did not proceed to wallow in negativity. I did not catastrophize more about the future. Instead, we thanked God for the weekend experiences and memories, I thanked God for my husband, and we prayed that relief would come soon.
When I think back to some of the events leading up to my salvation and how I came to faith, I’m still amazed by what God did. My gratitude is inexpressible. This is the last lesson in our study! Thank you for joining me on this adventure. Though this is the final lesson, it need not be the end of studying this aspect of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is always more to learn, and we must always seek to grow in our knowledge of Him. (2 Peter 3:18)
In this lesson, we are going to consider some of the incommunicable attributes of God. We will apply them as a sort of litmus test. For if Jesus is God, we would not be surprised to see and would even expect to see incommunicable attributes of God attributed to Him. Does the Bible show that Jesus has attributes like omnipresence, eternality, immutability, and others? We shall soon see.
For our purposes in our study on the deity of Christ, we can use what the Bible reveals about God to help us determine if Jesus is God. For if Jesus is in fact God, then we would expect the biblical record to show works of God done by Him and attributes of God displayed in Him. We would not have to see all of God’s works and attributes in Jesus, but we would expect to see some. So did New Testament writers record that Jesus did the works of God and did they write that He had the attributes of God? Let’s take a look.
