His Word or Your Imagination?
When we believe that certain things about God are true,
but these same things are not confirmed by His word,
then they are really just human fancy;
and create an erroneous, lesser version of the true God.

amen. Just talking to a friend today who is reading a book by IHOP/NAR teachers. They teach that you must have passion for God. She feels guilty because she doesn’t have enough of the passion according to their definition. Asked her where does the Bible teach this? If anyone can bind our conscience with any teaching they can come up with, we are in big trouble.
Your friend is blessed to have you. Your question is simple but so important. I pray she might find peace from the words of Scripture and move away from any erroneous teachings.
